There are too many unanswered questions, too many environmental concerns, too much strain on our infrastructure, no clear benefits for the community.
Environmental impact
How much water will the center use? How much noise and pollution will the center generate? How will light pollution affect neighbors and local animal population?
Infrastructure
How will this affect our electrical and water bills? Who pays if the grid/system needs an update, or if our systems crash?
Purpose
Why do we need this data center here now? Why can't we wait until we get non-partisan reviews? When can we meet with town leaders, and deveopers who are profiting from this, and ask questions? Are Town of Tonawanda board members or other local politicians proifitting from this? Who will pay for clean-up if the center fails?
We need answers before anything is built!
Actions you can take now
The project is currently officially on hold, and NY Governor Kathy Hochul has a one-year moratorium on her desk, but this is not final: The hold may be lifted, Governor Hochul might not sign the bill, so we can't stop.
Attend Town Meetings

Contact Politicians
